WikiHouse or how to build affordable housing

One of the features that technology and the Internet in particular, have contributed to the growth of our society are the personal contributions for the general benefit of all. Since the emergence of Linux and free software community, the cooperative movement has not stopped growing. First came the Wiki platform, of which Wikipedia is undoubtedly the finest. Later came the Creative Commons license to facilitate the free distribution and use of works, avoiding the maligned way of copyright, and now with the second decade of the XXI century and rolling, it is time for the construction of houses through collaboration and a spirit of solidarity and selfless, at least economically speaking.

We refer to new project WikiHouse , in which designers, architects, construction workers and other professionals are joining efforts to provide that “every mother’s son” in developing countries can qualify for a home, with a capacity to be built with minimal elements, lowest cost and without technical knowledge insurmountable for most mortals. The project in itself is special in itself for its innovative, collaborative, and its most important features that anyone can download blueprints and templates for building thanks to each and every one of them has been published under Creative Commons.

How to end a lease
